Writer's Club

The Writer's Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month at Mrs. Helen Pykes home in Collegedale. She provides a supper of pizza and salad.

Members and visitors can bring written work of their own to share or just come to listen to other students read their work.

Directions: Mrs. Pyke's house is at 9107 Finney Point Drive. Leave the University on Apison Pike going west. Cross through Four Corners, pass Little Debbie Parkway. The next road on the right is the entrance to Stratford Place subdivision. Turn there--right of course. Go up the hill and turn right on Finney Point Drive. The road goes up and down, and around the mulberry bush, but as you approach the cul de sac at the end, you will see a beige Victorian on the left--the whole front yard is in veggie and flower gardens. That's her house.
