Hey Axiom, I've been posting from 216.229.236.116 and am now registered as Parawing742. Problem is that it seems it doesn't remember me being logged in if I edit more than just one item. Instead it reverts back to my IP address. Any ideas why this might be happening?
Also, can I get the stuff posted from 216.229.236.116 credited to Parawing742?
Likely your blocking cookies. It uses one to keep you logged in.
There's not really a good way to attribute the IP edits to you, but you can put a note on your own page if you want to take credit for them. Just click your username at the top of any page while your logged in and you'll get to your user page.
Hey from SWAU
No, unfortunately I don't think I've ever had the privilege of visiting Southern, though I'm not sure because we drove to the '88 Friendship Camporee in Pennsylvania from Louisiana (where I was living at the time), and I even remember sleeping overnight in Tennessee somewhere, but I don't know if it was a high school or what. However, I have friends who go there or have gone there, and I know a bit about it.
Here at SWAU things are going great. There's the usual disagreements between students and administration, but that isn't anything new. I'm trying to get through my last year (#5!) of school here and graduate with a BA in English and Religion, before heading off to Mexico to teach for at least a year (and be close to my girlfriend :D).
I do enjoy the site, and have even posted a comment on the List of Climbers talk page for starters. Consider me already inspired to start my own site for SWAU, but I am just daunted by the number of the hoops I'll have to jump through in order to pull it off, including learning PHP, which I know basically nothing about. :/ I am considering starting it at Riters.com (a wiki farm), but first I'll talk to my school and see if I can't have it hosted on the school server, since that looks WAY more official and more likely to actually be noticed by the average SWAU student.
I hope your day is great!

Suggestion/Request
I know this is a little odd since I'm not a SAU student, and perhaps not the proper venue in which to ask this, but I couldn't find a proper one like Wikipedia has: Even though I am a fairly new contributor, I think I'm a decent one (and planning to continue to contribute), and I get frustrated not being able to do things like remove unnecessary redirect pages, etc. Do you think that you and/or a committee of bureacrats could make me an administrator? If things don't go well, someone with steward or higher status could always remove my admin status. If you had a request for adminship page, I would use that for this request. Let me know what you/they decide. Amiably, Cromwellt 21:07, 17 Dec 2004 (PST)
images in forum
Hey Axiom, could you set your PHPBB software so I can upload images right into the forum? I'm pretty sure the software supports it if you could just enable it, that would be great. I'm interesting in starting a stupid little photoshopping contest in the forum, and I think other people might like to do that kinda stuff too. Thanks. nonesuch
- You got it. Just surround the url of you image with [IMG] [/IMG]. You can host images on your southern space, or just upload them to the wiki (upload file on the side of this page).
Question....
Hey I had a question. I'm not sure how you messaged me, but I was wanting to do that. If you could let me know. Thanks. I did some updating in the Majors. Not sure if that is okay, but I just added what majors are available. Talk to you later.
Sincerely
Murville
Got another question
Hey,
Which way is better to have the classes split up? Like the way the Biology classes are split up, or like the comptuer classes and how they are into sub categories that you have to click on. Let me know. I'm slowly going through each major and writing down the main courses. If you could give me an idea of which is better it would be appreciated.
Sincerly
Murville
- How you organize things depends largely on what you are organizing. With only a few classes, it worked well on one page, but of course, I don't want to just have a few classes on this site, I want lots. So it might be a good idea to start doing subpages for classes. What I don't want is a lot of subpages with only one thing on them. --Axiom 16:53, 30 Mar 2005 (PST)
Hello
I have a question? What is fleshing out mean? Just curious. Thanks for the help and the ideas. It looks like the website is really starting to get somewhere. Talk to you later

Thanks for the compliment
Hey,
Thanks for the compliment. By the way can you give my computer a check this weekend to see if it is still open? Thanks for your help. Have a great weekend.
