McKee Library

Located on the campus of Southern Adventist University is the mysterious McKee Library. Students are rumored to have ventured into the basement and disappeared forever. However, responsible students who devote their time to the peaceful joys of studying on the first and second floors are never in any kind of mortal peril.

The library provides patrons with more than 150,000 volumes on our shelves, over 25,000 electronic books, subscriptions to over 1,100 print periodicals and access to over 19,000 electronic journals. A large collection of Ellen G. White materials, numbering over 20,000 volumes, is also housed in our collection. Located on the third floor is a 3,600 volume special collection related to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. This Thomas Memorial Collection includes authentic photographs and oil portraits of Lincoln as well as other memorabilia.
