How to Interview

These are some notes from an interviewing discussion at Meet the Firms.

1. Show up on time.

2. Take control of the interview.

3. Don't lie!

4. Research the company before interviewing.

5. Get good directions and scout out the location a day before the interview.

Attitude is more important than experience. Don't act cocky during your interview.

If you can get any type of full-time work in your field of interest, take it. There may be very little opportunity later.

Make use of internships even if they are not paid. These will help you get a better job in the future.

Learn everything you can at a job, even if you're not required too.
